About the event

Singing can provide an invaluable support for carers of those with health conditions. From carer choirs to carers who sing alongside those in their care, we'll hear about:

  • Inspiring work in this field,
  • Insights into practice
  • Funding and partnerships
  • Research and evaluation

Panel includes:

  • Sarah Summers (chair), choir leader and Vocal Health First Aider, leader of Swindon Carer's Choir and Great Western Harmony NHS Choir
  • Paul Rothwell, Tenovus Cancer Care's Sing with Us lead for their network of 19 choirs for people who have been affected by cancer
  • Victoria Hodges, singer, personal performance coach and choir leader, including choirs for people affected by cancer and their families
  • William Pickering, conductor of The Carers Choir for Unpaid Carers Support, Southampton
