What data do we collect?

SHN collects the following information from members and mailing list subscribers:

  • Title

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Connection with Singing for Health

  • Role/occupation

  • Organisation

  • Location

 

How do we collect your data?

Through completion of online forms on our ‘Join the Network’ page – as a member or as a mailing list subscriber.

 

How will we use your data?

We collect your data so that we can:

  • Process your membership subscription and payment

  • Inform what the network provides

  • Email you with information and opportunities from the network

 

We will not share your information with partners companies without consent.

 

How do we store your data?

SHN securely stores your data in the backend of the website, which is accessed only by administrators from SHN, and requires login each time.

 

  • Members: we will store your data until you decide not to renew your membership.

  • Mailing list subscribers: we will store your data for 12 months, and if you choose not to remain subscribed we will delete your data.

 

Marketing

We will only contact you about products and services that relate to Singing for Health, and these will only be through newsletters, or through listings on the website and social media.

What are your data protection rights?

Every user is entitled to the following:

 

  • The right to access – you have the right to request from SHN copies of your personal data.

  • The right to rectification – you have the right to request that SHN correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request SHN to complete information you believe is incomplete.

  • The right to erasure – you have the right to request that SHN erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to restrict processing – you have the right to request that SHN restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability – you have the right to request that SHN transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
