About the event

The third in our series of Tuesday lunchtime sessions exploring the bigger picture of Singing for Health. Initial thoughts from our guest speakers, then it's over to you to open up the discussion.

What can practitioners contribute to the understanding of singing for health?

Practitioners know in their bones things that research papers can never fully capture: how to hold a room, when to pivot, which warm-up for this particular group on this particular day? Why does certain repertoire work when logic says it shouldn't?

How do we make practitioner wisdom visible and valued? And what changes when practitioners become co-researchers rather than just research subjects?
