About the event
Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, Autism, Acquired Nerodiversity, Mental Health and more. As our understanding of this complex field increases, our webinar panel explores the relationship between neurodivergent conditions and singing, what singing leaders need to know and where they can go to find out more.
Panel includes:
- Dionysios Kyropoulos - researcher, stage director, acting coach for singers, Professor of Historical Stagecraft at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, doctoral student at University of Oxford.
- Abigail Mann-Daraz - Singing for Health & Wellbeing practitioner-researcher, masters student in Voice Pegagogy (Singing for Health specialism) with primary research areas into stammering, autism and mental health.
- Alice Nicholls - Neurologic Music Therapist at Chiltern Music Therapy, MATADOC Assessor, and Clinical Music Therapy Supervisor; working in neuro rehab and SEN school settings, and running therapeutic voicework exploration groups for trans and non-binary adults.
