A panel discussion to explore the need to address vocal health within Singing for Health, including:
- Considering the different aspects of vocal health within singing for health
- How health conditions can affect the voice and how to mitigate this
- Supporting the ageing voice
- Vocal self-care
- Practitioner knowledge and skills and professional development
Panel includes:
- Kate Cubley (chair) - vocal health research prize winner, voice coach, vocal performer and functional breathing facilitator, studying PHD at De Montford University, researching voice and allergies
- Patricia Vella-Burrows - Visiting Principal Research Fellow at Sidney De Haan Research Centre for Arts & Health
- Natalie Eastwood - Speech & Language Therapy Lead at Newcastle Voice Clinic and Performers' Clinic, Clinical Lead in Voice and Upper Airways at Newcastle-upon-Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Rebecca Moseley-Morgan - Voice scientist & practitioner, Chair of Education at the British Voice Association
