I'm Emma Rowland and I'm the Founder and Principal Conductor of Sing out Strong. We run community choirs all over the UK for the benefits of mental health and wellbeing and we have thousands of members online who joined us in the big lockdown to continue making music and meeting friends, right when they needed it most. We are totally inclusive (in fact, we're "Singclusive") which means that we go above and beyond to make our members feel welcome and to make our sessions accessible, including offering free places for carers, reduced rates and Pay As You Sing schemes, running Wellness Days for our members and training all our Leaders in Mental Health Safeguarding.
